Take a drive down to the small waterfront community of Des Allemandes for the annual Louisiana Catfish Festival on July 8-10, 2011.
The event features rides, live music, games, good, a country store, catfish-eating contest and a 5K and 1-mile race.
Some of this year’s performers include: Wayne Toups & Zydecajun, Aaron Foret, Don Rich, Southdown and Good Feelin.
