Oak Street Po-Boy Festival: November 20

Head down to Oak Street on November 20, 2011, for the Oak Street Po-Boy Festival.

All held in celebration of the almighty po-boy, the festival features great food, live music and more. There are 45 food booths in all featuring food from such restaurants as Cafe Reconcile, Boucherie, Palace Cafe, Squeal, GW Fins, Bourbon House and Jacques-Imo’s.

There is also great music on three stages. Some of this year’s performers include: Los Poboycitos, Rebirth Brass Band, Stooges Brass Band, Papa Grows Funk, Revivalists, 101 Runners and Mia Borders.

The festival takes place on the lower end of Oak Street from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, visit the web site.
