Free for All Summer Series run/walks in City Park

The 23rd Annual Free For All Summer Series is a 5-race series at City Park. It’s a 2-mile race (you can run or walk) put on by the New Orleans Track Club after which you can get your fill of FREE beer, red beans and rice, bananas and chips.

While the event is totally FREE, it is to raise money for City Park, therefore Neworleansonthecheap.com, recommends that you stick $5 in the donation box. Seriously though, if you can’t put in $5 for a whole bunch of beer and red beans and rice then you’re way too cheap.

The races remaining races are on 7/13 and 7/27. All races begin at 7:06 p.m at City Park on Roosevelt Mall Boulevard. For more information visit the web site of the New Orleans Track Club.

Thanks to our friends at Cities on the Cheap, we found that during the month of April, kids can eat FREE at IHOP from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The offer is valid for kids ages 12 and under and they can select anything from the “Just for Kids” menu.
